The truck belongs to a business that is located close by, so I was able to track down an employee and have them move the truck for me. Shy of that, I would have crawled through the passenger side over the console and stick shift.

I didn't harm the truck. It's really a poor parking lot design. That's actually a company's truck, and that space is reserved for that company. You think they would know better than to back up so far, as I'm sure this issue has come up before.

Yes I'm in a spot, and there is a car next to me. Both mine and the spot next to me are compact spots. It's a poor parking lot design honestly, my spot or the truck's spot probably shouldn't exist, or they should move the curb to the left to make the spot where the truck is parked more shallow. You can actually see the yellow line on the ground which I assume is to keep me off the curb a bit, which I honored.

The truck is actually a business truck, and it's in a spot reserved for that business. You would think this issue has come up before, and they wouldn't back up so far. Maybe the guy was new, or maybe he didn't notice my car (meaning he nearly backed into me), or maybe he felt like being an inconsiderate jerk. He didn't have to back up that far, there's nothing in front of him.

I was able to track down an employee and have them move the truck for me.

I try to avoid that spot, but it was very slim pickings when I parked. And after 9 years in this building, this is the first time this has happened to me in that spot. Backing up is definitely my plan of attack if I'm stuck with this spot in the future.
